I just spent the past 2-3 days trying out Movie Editors and attempting to transfer Video, Picture and Document files from my Verizon Samsung Stellar Android Smartphone to my Linux Mint OS. After experimenting with different methods, I had SUCCESS!. I will go into the details in my next posts.
Update: For the Android to Linux File Transfer, I recommend using Android Debug Bridge (ADB) instead of Go-mtpfs due to ease of use and consistency.
