As promised, here is a table of equivalent Linux to Windows applications commonly used by the average user. Please note that the applications highlighted in blue did not come pre-installed with Linux. They had to be downloaded from the Software Manager Tool on Linux Mint and Software Center on Ubuntu. The cool thing is they were FREE.
